THE OLD TINCTURE METHOD
The most common CBD application is using a sublingual tincture where the oil is placed in a dropper then under the tongue for 30 seconds and then swallowed. Tinctures require a carrier oil, such as coconut oil (MCT oil) and travels through the stomach then liver and eventually into the body. This method may allow for only 12-16% absorption and can take up to 30 minutes to take effect. For those without a gallbladder, absorption is even less.
